DRACULA - For The Dead Travel Fast

This project was centered around reimaging a 19th century book and I created a series of 3 concertina zines inspired by Dracula by Bram Stoker. Named ‘For The Dead Travel Fast’ after the phrase in the book, ‘Denn die Todten reiten Schnell.’, which translates to ‘For The Dead Travel Fast’. Each of the zines was based around a theme or idea from the book. Zine 1 was based on the idea of blood, immortality and death. Zine 2 was based on faces, existence and the self. Zine 3 was based on a section of the book, in which Renfield kills and eats insects and animals.
